This is a new website and is definitely a work in progress. In the coming weeks, I intend to have some prominent Hawaiians record some of the common Hawaiian words and phrases included on the tables here. So, as they say, stay tuned and check back often! We would also like to add other aspects of Hawaiian culture. Some of my patients have offered to provide pictures of vintage Kona and some of the old Hawaiian families.

Just updated is the pronunciations done by a native Hawaiian speaker, W. Kaumana Barton. Hope you enjoy! More to come soon…….

We would love to have your suggestions as well. If you have anything you would like to contribute to the site or things you’d like to see here, feel free to comment.

Aloha!
